Commercial Glass Service

Storefront Systems

The glass line between your business and the sidewalk. We install, replace, and repair aluminum commercial storefronts across Ohio — engineered to look sharp, seal tight, and take daily traffic for years.

Storefronts that sell before the door opens

A commercial storefront does two jobs at once: it's the face of the business and it's a weather-tight building envelope. Get it wrong and you get drafts, fogged glass, and doors that bind. Get it right and it disappears — clean sightlines, crisp aluminum, glass that makes the space look open and inviting.

Atwood Glass has been building and servicing storefronts for Ohio businesses since 1994. Whether it's a new strip retail center, a restaurant remodel, or a single broken pane on Main Street, we handle the bid, fabrication, and installation under one roof — so there's one crew accountable from measurement to punch list.

What we install & repair

  • New storefront installation — aluminum framing systems and glass for new construction and tenant build-outs.
  • Storefront glass replacement — broken, cracked, or fogged insulated units swapped with minimal downtime.
  • Storefront repair — framing, weatherstripping, thresholds, and hardware brought back to spec.
  • Entrance integration — glass entry doors, closers, locks, and panic hardware matched to the storefront line.
  • Energy upgrades — insulated, low-E, and tempered glass to meet code and cut heating and cooling loss.

Built for retail, restaurants & street-front business

We work in occupied buildings every day and plan the job around yours — after-hours glass swaps, temporary board-ups when a pane can't wait, and clean staging so your customers never see the mess. Every project runs through a clear management process, and every quote is matched to your building, not a one-size template.

Serving New Philadelphia, Dover, Canton, and businesses statewide. See our service area →

Common Questions

Storefront Glass FAQ

Can you replace a single broken storefront pane?

Yes. We measure the opening, fabricate the correct glass — including insulated and tempered units where required — and install it, usually with a temporary board-up in the meantime if the opening can't be left open.

Do you work after hours to avoid disrupting business?

We do. For occupied retail and restaurants we regularly schedule glass swaps and storefront work after close so your customers and staff aren't affected.

What's the difference between a storefront and a curtain wall?

Storefront systems are typically ground-level and span one to two stories; curtain wall carries taller, multi-story facades. We build both — see our curtain wall page.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Mineral City in Tuscarawas County and work across Ohio — New Philadelphia, Dover, Canton, Massillon, Akron, and beyond. See our service area.
