Commercial Glass Service

Glass Replacement

A broken pane or a fogged unit doesn't wait for a convenient time. We replace and repair commercial glass across Ohio fast — board-ups the same day if the opening can't be left exposed, and a permanent fix scheduled around your business, not the other way around.

Fast response, done right

Broken glass is a security problem and a first-impression problem the moment it happens. Fogged or failed insulated units are quieter but still cost you — condensation between the panes, higher heating and cooling bills, and a window that looks bad from the parking lot. Either way, the fix needs to happen fast and it needs to be built to spec, not just whatever pane happens to be on the truck.

Atwood Glass has replaced and repaired commercial glass across Ohio since 1994. We measure the exact opening, fabricate the correct glass — including tempered, safety, and insulated units where code requires it — and get it installed with minimal downtime.

What we handle

  • Broken & cracked glass — storefront, window, and door glass replaced to match the original spec.
  • Fogged insulated units — failed seals causing condensation between panes, replaced with a properly sealed unit.
  • Tempered & safety glass — code-compliant glass fabricated for the exact opening.
  • Emergency board-ups — same-day temporary securing of an opening that can't be left exposed.
  • Commercial glass restoration — scratched, damaged, or degraded glass assessed and replaced where repair isn't enough.
  • After-hours scheduling — glass swaps timed around your open hours whenever possible.

Built to minimize your downtime

A broken storefront or window doesn't have to mean a closed business. We board up the opening immediately if needed, then measure, fabricate, and install the permanent replacement as fast as the glass can be made — usually working around your operating hours so customers never see an open gap.

Common Questions

Glass Replacement FAQ

How fast can you respond to a broken window or storefront pane?

We prioritize broken glass calls and can typically board up an exposed opening the same day, with the permanent replacement scheduled as soon as the correct glass is fabricated.

My insulated glass unit looks foggy — does the whole window need replaced?

Usually just the insulated unit itself, not the entire frame. Fogging means the seal between the panes has failed and moisture has gotten in — we replace the unit and match it to the existing frame.

Do you work after hours to avoid closing the business?

Yes. We regularly schedule glass replacement for retail, restaurants, and offices after close so operations aren't interrupted.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Mineral City in Tuscarawas County and work across Ohio — New Philadelphia, Dover, Canton, Massillon, Akron, and beyond. See our service area.
